I began blacksmithing in 2001 while taking a beginner blacksmith class through BGCM. My work includes (but is not limited to) furniture, hardware, railings, small gates, and housewares. I utilize traditional and modern tools and techniques depending on the piece.Traditional joinery and forge welding to mig and tig welding. Hand forging at the anvil to power hammer and flypress work.  I can't say if I have a particular style, I just believe in challenging myself, taking pride in the pieces I produce, and doing good clean work.

Bill Clemens, Hound and Hare Forge - www.houndandhareforge.com - New Columbia, PA - 570-239-6439 - bclemens@houndandhareforge.com

I began my career in blacksmithing by taking a class at the John C. Campbell Folk are School in Brasstown, NC in 1999 while I was still in the Air Force. I fell in love with the craft and it has become my retirement career. I like forging items using traditional techniques and prefer one of a kind commission work but will make most anything involving forging iron or other metals. I have made everything from large gates and hinges to jewelry items.

I am a traditional metal smith who welds, machines, fabricates, and forges in a rather large well equipped job shop. Visitors are welcome. I have been manufacturing utility air hammers since 1996 and am focusing upon building the best power hammer on the planet. I have been demonstrating traditional blacksmithing at Jerusalem Mill since 1996. Current research is focused upon hydraulic forging presses.
