The 34th annual blacksmith days event for the Blacksmith Guild of Central Maryland. This years demonstrators are Mark Sperry of Colonial Williamsburg and Matt Stagmer host and executive producer of the That Works Youtube channel. Activities include contests, tailgating, Iron-in-the-hat drawings, Forging Contests, Live Auction and more! This is a save the date notification. The celebration will feature top-notch demonstrators and lecturers, a team forging competition, hands-on educational opportunities, gallery of forged work, auction, vendors, tailgating, family programs, food, festivities, and more!
Nol Putnam passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 89. He was a monumental figure in American Blacksmithing, especially on the East Coast. There will be a “Celebration of Life” in memory of Nol Putnam on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 2pm.
